About

Nemosené grew out of years of listening.

Through When We Die Talks, I’ve spent hundreds of hours in conversation with people reflecting on their lives, their fears, their beliefs, and the things that matter most to them. Again and again, I saw how powerful it can be to simply have space to speak — without being rushed, analyzed, or led toward a conclusion.

Nemosené is an extension of that work. It’s a place for slower conversations. Conversations that aren’t meant for an audience, but for the person speaking and the people who love them.

I don’t approach these sessions as interviews or performances. I approach them as listening. Paying attention to what’s said, what’s hesitated over, and what emerges when someone feels genuinely heard. The goal isn’t to summarize a life or extract meaning, but to preserve voice, perspective, and presence.

These recordings aren’t about legacy in the traditional sense. They’re about keeping something human and true, in someone’s own words, while there’s still time to say it.

Nemosené is held with care, curiosity, and respect for the fact that every life contains more than can ever be captured. This is simply one way of listening closely.
